The WWE has confirmed the release of Selena Vega, much to the surprise of fans around the world.
The announcement was made by the pro wrestling giant just before SmackDown on Friday night, after he talked about superstar unionization and the drama surrounding third-party platforms.
In a brief statement of WWE.com, the company simply said: ‘The WWE has reached an agreement on the release of Selena Vega. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors. ‘
She gave no reason to go with the brand after three years, including whether it was a WWE call or her own request.
Shortly before the announcement – but, according to reports, after the announcement of the decision – Selina tweeted: ‘I support the union. (sic) ‘
After the release, she returned to Twitch after having to stop streaming because she had recently dropped WWE stars using third-party platforms.
She said she has no plans to retire and has nothing bad to say, even if people have tuned in expecting such a response.
Instead, she thanked him for making her dream come true, while admitting that she was ‘completely shaken’ by the revelation of things.
She said: ‘I am sad. I am completely heartbroken. But this is not the last time you are going to see me. I do not know what the future holds
‘If I go down as someone who stands up for themselves, you know, so be it. But I am very grateful.
‘I’m not angry, I’m heartbroken. Because doing this, all I wanted to do was be a wrestler. So I do not really know what to say, I do not really know ‘
She later went on Twitter to thank fans for their support, along with a photo of Ring Gear paying tribute to her late father.
She wrote: ‘I want to say thank you so much to everyone for the last 3-4 years @WWEUniverse, it was incredible.
If some people did not believe me, I would never be able to say, “This is your father.” I love you all, I can not do this without your support.
Selina, who recently opened an all-rounder account for her cosplay projects – previously named Rosita in Impact Wrestling, worked with the promotion from 2011 to 2013.
Although NNST has appeared for most of his WWE career as manager of Android since joining in 2017, Vega has begun to become a wrestler of his own this year.
