The European Cups are coming, albeit a little European
The first weekend of European Cups: From December 9, the Challenge and Champions Cup will delight exciting weekends with plenty of top-level rugby hitting Italian and non-Italian television screens.

The first day of the Challenge Cup will see two matches of Italian teams broadcast in Italy: on Friday Benetton will challenge Stade Française at Jean Bouin in Paris at 21:00; The next day, at the same time, Sébre on the field against Toulon inside the friendly walls of Llanfranchi.
This will be the fifth challenge for Benetton and Stade Française against each other: four wins for the French, but chronologically the last in green and white, 44-20 in December 2020.
Zebr and Toulon were in the same group in the last Challenge Cup and their match at Stade Mayol ended 28-14 a year ago.
In order to qualify, Italian teams need to finish in the top six of their respective groups at the end of the first four days.

As for the Champions League, there will be three matches broadcast by Sky: the sidereal challenge between Racing 92 and Leinster, kick-off at 14:00; Sunday is a double appointment with Sail Sharks-Ulster at 14:00, followed by Munster-Toulouse at 16:15.

Update 9/12: From the 2022/2023 season, Challenge Cup matches involving Italian teams Benetton and Seabre will also be available to subscribers of Eleven Sports, the streaming platform that already broadcasts the Top 10 and Women’s Excellence matches. Broadcasting will start from day one with Stade Francis-Bennett and Sébrey-Toulon.
