When will it be held and what games will be featured?

Ubisoft Forward is coming into September with an appetite this week.

For a studio with a bunch of major games at any one time, Ubisoft certainly hasn’t told us much about them in the past year. It didn’t attend E3 last month, and there were no trailers or announcements Ubisoft December’s Game Awards and Ubisoft’s Forward to 2021 presentation were disappointing.

Last year I got a trailer for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, but the rest were just release dates for the games I knew about (Raiders Republic, Just Dance, Rainbow Six Extraction), Far Cry 6, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC. .

The biggest news from Ubisoft, honestly, was a leak last month that revealed they were working on an online Assassin’s Creed game called Assassin’s Creed Infinity.

An expected event

I hope we get more to chew on this summer, because data is data Ubisoft Forward 2022 has finally been announced. First, it’s an aperitif for July 7 with an “in-depth look” at Ubisoft’s oft-postponed pirated multiplayer game Skull and Bones , which will appear before the end of the year.

The main course won’t happen until September 10, when Ubisoft will present its full showcase. Unfortunately, there are no details yet, with the announcement that the presentation will “reveal updates and news about more games and projects from Ubisoft teams around the world.”

Of course there are many things I would like to hear. In addition to Assassin’s Creed Infinity, there are many curiosities related to certain games such as The Division: Heartland (the last update I received as a result of a leak) and whether the Splinter Cell remake will be released soon.

I’ll throw up and dare even think a mention of Beyond Good and Evil 2, which has been in development for over a decade.
