“What if Next in Line represented Ireland in Malmö in 2024? »

To finish this weekend, the destination is Ireland: it was represented in Malmö Bambi Thug And his song “Doomsday Blue” Finished sixth in the finals. What would have been the result in Malmö if Ireland had chosen? Next in line With their song “Love Like Us” ?

My personal opinion:

Had Ireland sent its second national selection, boy band Next, to Malmo, it would have been a truly anti-Bambi Thug atmosphere. With a song reminiscent of the heyday of 90s boybands, the five singers were so weak in vocals, it was so mellow that even the music couldn't give it a semblance of fervor. Maybe I'm being harsh, but I think this song goes completely unnoticed, and I defy anyone to say they're indifferent to this performance, whether you love it or hate it, when you see Bambi Thug performed on stage. Therefore, I honestly believe that “Love Like Us” has no chance of doing better than “Doomsday Blue,” which I think would not have qualified for the finals.

From now on, it's up to you to voice your opinion with a comment or simply vote “yes” or “no” in the short survey below:

Tomorrow we head to Ukraine for this 22nd day of guesswork and speculation.
