Watch: Irishman Drogheda attacks Tesco by smashing bottle after being asked to wear a mask.

Published on

This is the amazing moment when someone starts ruining a Tesco score in Co-Lot by accusing him of being upset at being asked to wear a mask.

In the footage, a man is seen throwing dozens of bottles of spirit and wine at a Tesco liquor store on West Street in Drogheda yesterday.

When he realizes that he has been shot, he sees him throwing the bottles down with more force.

The vandal sends glass and alcohol flying in all directions so that the shocked spectators can only see the cover and run away.

Abraham McCormack, 33, was arrested in connection with the incident. Drogheda appeared in district court that day on charges of causing criminal damages.

Accordingly Daily MailMcCormack told the court he would not accept a bail condition to stay away from all Tescolets toilets in Ireland and to be vigilant.

Tesco confirmed in a statement.

“We confirm there was an incident at our Drogheda West Street store on Wednesday. The store is operating normally following the incident,” the statement said.

“An investigation is currently underway into a Garda Savocana. We apologize to any customers who may have been in the store when this happened.”

Martin Quinn, who reported taking the original video, summed up the situation precisely: “It was a very sad day to see all the whiskey and wine wasted.”

That’s right, Martin.
