Wurstad (dpa / lrs) – a truck driver who “presented” two driving licenses to the Guo-Bickelheim Motorway Police – but still did not have a valid driving license. His German driving license is only valid for vehicles up to 7.5 tons, the Mains Traffic Department said Saturday. Perhaps for this reason, he also obtained an Irish driving license to drive large trucks. With the trained eyes of the officers it can be quickly concealed that it is fake.

The 26-tonne truck was spotted by motorway police on Friday as it could not see the TV seal. The main inspection was found to have already expired four months ago. The driver should now expect criminal proceedings for forging documents, purchasing false official personal IDs and driving without a driver’s license. He was not allowed to drive further.
