Primark’s big day has arrived. Today, Tuesday, November 8, thousands of customers waited patiently to be the first to shop. When the store opened, at 8.00 am, there were already 3,500 people in line, according to the overtime agreed with Le Groove to avoid disrupting the shopping center. The shopping center is usually open from 9 am to 10 pm.

1,500 people entered immediately and 2,000 patiently lined up, indulging in their desire to preview the Irish brand’s clothing collection for men, women, kids, beauty, lifestyle and homeware and make their first purchases. They wanted to leave immediately to find 4,600 square meters of the first store in Piedmont, which created more than 150 jobs. Inside there is also a wide selection of Christmas themed products.

“Primark Le Gru represents another milestone in Primark’s expansion strategy in Italy, as it brings our total number of stores in the country to 12. We are delighted to open our new store before the high holiday season, thus offering customers the chance to shop our best offer before Christmas,” said Luca Ciuffreda, Head of Sales Italy at Primark.

“We are proud that Primark has chosen Grugliasco and Le Gru to open a new store at such a difficult moment,” said Grugliasco Mayor Emmanuel Gaito. “I am sure that this is a good investment and that this presence is important for our entire economy, becoming an engine of jobs in our area and thus differentiating the commercial offer of the city. Of the 150 people hired, about 30 are from Grugliachesi, which is a great pleasure for us. What Primark is doing today is an act of faith for our city,” he concluded.

Primark opens at Le Gruy: “The opening will be a great party and the magic of our products is for everyone
