Fascinating queues at Moscow airport. At border posts, by car or on foot, thousands of Russians chose exile after Vladimir Putin announced he would mobilize reservists for the Ukrainian front. Turkey, Finland, but also the men, women and children taking the direction of Georgia.

On Sunday, September 24, there was a queue of more than 20 kilometers to pass in Georgia. Among these thousands of cars, the Russians, Fleeing the mobilization of reservists ordered by Vladimir Putin. After two or three days of bottling they are finally on the Georgian side. We find them in Tbilisi, the capital of the country. New queue to get sim card and make local calls. Suitcases on the sidewalk, these people explain, are that until now, the Russians have let almost everyone, sometimes with a bribe, pass up to 180 euros.

Often these people say that they have not yet been summoned by the military authorities, but they are going as a precaution. “It’s too far. What the government is offering us doesn’t suit me. (…) Certainly not everyone will be mobilized, but you never know when it will fall on you or on someone else., says a Russian. These new Russian arrivals are not necessarily welcome in Georgia. In a recent graffiti, they were invited in vulgar terms to return home.
