Third edition of MyFirst Doc Festival from December 25, 2020 to January 8, 2021

30 documentaries selected from over 400 proposals with cinematographic productions produced over the past two years.

Organized by the Tunisian Documentary Film Association and dedicated to the documentary category, My First Doc Festival highlights young international cinema by offering directors the opportunity to present their work to the public. The aim is to discover and promote the first films by giving visuals to different expressions of independent documentary film. Due to health crisis, 3e The edition of the festival will take place online, and from December 25, 2020 to January 8, 2021 in Tunisia and anywhere in the world, you will have free access to the Internet for 2 weeks on the platform www.documedtunisie.com. The opportunity for the Tunisian public to discover, at home, was planned in theaters at the beginning of the programming. Since it has always been this desire to promote the first works of budding filmmakers, this new edition offers escape and reflections from the personal and sensitive perspectives of filmmakers around the world. Art and culture will discuss various themes such as forms of resistance, music as a vector of personal development, singing, and the creation of social links; The ocean of dreams universe for a better world; Memories, life stories, and their connection with history; The desire to inherit through traditional practices, benevolence, and generosity for the benefit of the weak; Rurality and a return to nature in a world of climate change; Anxiety and panic in the face of the agitations of the contemporary lifestyle …

Argentina, Brazil, Belarus, Belgium, Burkina Faso, China, Cuba, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Guyana, Japan, Ireland, Italy, Madagascar, Morocco, Palestine, Portugal, Senegal, Solo, Slovenia, Slovenia USA. In order to adapt to these extraordinary conditions and the lack of discussions that usually follow screenings, My First Doc Festival directors were asked to answer a set of questions in a video, to report to the audience the origin of the film project, the stages of writing, and the circumstances of its production.
