Ivan Posulo, 47, has taught French for more than a decade at an institution in Gijോn, in the north of the country, and has maintained his own evaluation method.

In interviews with Spanish newspapers and in a book he published last year, he argued that any change in his students should be celebrated, albeit small.

Following the reflection of the case, an investigation was launched against Asturias Education Secretariat – Posulo‌, located in the city of Gijn.

More than 2,500 pages were written against the teacher and a recommendation was sent to the school indicating the absence of the teacher without pay for 8 months.

The professor claims that the Secretariat’s response was “torture”. He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture, and that his confession had been obtained through torture.
