The White House has said the United States does not intend to expel Russia from the UN Security Council

“We do not see that happening, and we know for a fact that they have a permanent seat,” said White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki.

247 – The U.S. government said on Thursday that replacing Russia as a permanent member of the UN Security Council would not be possible at the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selensky.

“We do not see that happening and we know for a fact that they have a permanent member of the UN Security Council,” said Jen Psaki, a White House spokeswoman.

A spokesman said President Joe Biden had made it clear he did not intend to send U.S. troops to fight Russia.
