The Moroccan Embassy in Ireland organized this Moroccan Economic Week in Ireland on Monday in the form of webinar sessions in collaboration with “Enterprise Ireland”, the Irish Department of Trade, Business, Employment and the Chamber of Arab-Irish Trade. .

On this occasion, Maule Hafiz Elami said that the country’s partners are accelerating investment in Morocco and that it was a manufacturing and exporting platform long before the Pandemic and that the Moroccan economy has demonstrated its potential during the Pandemic. Lahore Mahroy, the Moroccan ambassador to Ireland, said it was high time the two countries took advantage of existing trade agreements to expand their cooperation. Thus, this financial week will mark the signing of a framework agreement for economic, industrial and commercial cooperation between the two countries. Welcoming the importance of this virtual meeting, Robert Troy, Irish Minister of State for Promotion of Trade, Digital Technology and Trade Regulation, said that “investing in dynamic economies such as Morocco is a priority for Ireland”.
