The hotel employee obtains guest entitlement and guarantees retirement

A hotel employee in Turkey received a portion of what was left at a special guest residence, enough for him to retire.

Thaksin Dasdan, who started working as a luggage handler at the Korur Hotel in 1990, was later promoted to messenger. In addition to the salary increase, this position guarantees a closer relationship with the clients – one of them is the British Charles George Courtney.

Courtney often stayed at a Turkish hotel and befriended staff. The relationship between Dasdan and Courtney developed a bond of trust.

In an interview with the Beas Gazette, Dasdan said he had already borrowed money for the guest. “He also helped a lot in my children’s education,” said the messenger, who declined to disclose the amount abandoned by the British.

“We treated all the guests the same, but Courtney loved us so much. We treated him like his family,” Dasdan says. He never came back when he got sick, but we still saw each other through video calls, ”he says.

Dusdan may have quit his job after receiving most of his friend’s fortune, which was set aside for other employees. However, this is not in his plans. “I don’t want to stop working because I know a lot of people in this place,” he concludes.
