A C.N.H (National Driving License) Brazilian Enters into force in Portugal Starting this Monday, 1. The change in the Highway Code covers all citizens of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP) and the Organization for Economic Development Cooperation (OECD).

Until Decree-Law No. 46 of 2022 came into effect, Brazilians and other foreigners living in European countries had to exchange their documents for the Portuguese version. Replacement was mandatory for up to 90 days, counting from the issuance of the residence permit.

Less bureaucracy
