Published on

A spa in North Staffordshire has launched a new treatment for women undergoing menopause. Modershall Oaks, near Stone, started Pose & Renew treatment designed by a group of women therapists.

The award-winning spa offers a 50-minute treatment for women with menopause and peri-menopause, including a cold compress and a soothing mask to soothe warm and sensitive skin. The balms used in the treatment nourish dry skin and sore limbs and help in rest and sleep.

Treatment includes rest and deep breathing.

Penny Weston, Manager, Modershall Oaks, said: “We are always looking for ways to enhance our spa experience, and understanding the different needs of our customers is a big part of it. We are now more aware of the emotional side of menopause and thought it was important to create a holistic treatment that works on the mind and body.

“We do not want women to see menopause as the end of anything, but to approach it as a new chapter, we call treatment ‘renewal’, so treatment is not just about dealing with physical symptoms, it’s a good experience. ഇട A place and approach for women experiencing this change in life.
