This Friday (23), swimmers were able to dive for the first time in the latest attraction in London, which is considered to be the only floating pool in the world.
The 25 meter long pool is located on the tenth floor of two buildings, bypassing the English Parliament, London Eye Ferris Wheel and London Skyline.
The official inauguration will take place on May 19 with the presentation of the integrated swimming team. In 2015, Irish developer Balimore announced plans to build the pool, which was rejected by some entrepreneurs at the time.
The new ‘high-rise swimming pool’ is near the Embassy Garden in south-west London. In principle, the pool is open only to residents of buildings where the structure is suspended.
A transparent platform has been built next to it for those who like to walk along the floating pool. Check out the photos:
