Jose Mourinho criticizes Jurgen Klopp’s touch line behavior after beating Tottenham 2-1 at Liverpool at Anfield.
The Reds have topped the Premier League table at the expense of Spurs following Roberto Firmino’s last title.
Tottenham seem to have scored a point after Son Hyung-min canceled Mohamed Salah’s opener.
Mourinho and Klopp had words on the touchline all the time, suggesting that the Portuguese would not later escape his opponent’s actions.
He told Amazon Prime: “By the way, if I behave the same way on Touchline as he does, I will not have a chance to stay there.
“Come on, is it animated? Is it animated?”
Asked if he had surpassed the German mark, he added: “I say I’m different for some reason. That’s what I’m saying, and it’s sad.”
Mourinho responded by saying after the final whistle: “I told him the best team to lose. He disagreed, but that was his opinion.”
Klopp was skeptical when told of Mourinho’s comments.
He said: “Then my English is worse than I thought. The best team is lost and it says nothing about my behavior on the touchline so I don’t know what it is.”
