South Africa defeated England at home

The South Africans won clearly at Twickenham against a very tender Rose (27-13) fifteen men. A year before the World Cup in France (September 8 to October 28, 2023) the English have very few benchmarks.

South Africa thrashed Twickenham this Saturday, imparting a lesson in realism and skill to Ross’ fifteen. The Boks risked a footing when substitute Thomas du Toit dug his shoulder into the face of Luke Cowan-Dickie and was logically sent off (61st).

Finally, the English did not know how to take advantage of it: a week after a maddening comeback against the Blacks, Henry Slade made an effort to create a semblance of hope in the stands (71, 13-27). But the defeat leaves the Springboks in 14th place In Ireland (19-16) and so on In France (30-26), et al Great success in Italy (63-21), and they end their tour with an impressive win at the Temple of Rugby.
