Andre Theme from Plav am Sea was part of the German equestrian team that started at another station in the Nations Cup series in Denmark last weekend. The German team, North German Finza Bormann (Harsham), Andreas Ripke (Steinfeld) and Felix Hahman (Linen) finished eighth in the three-star CSIO in Ugarhalen. After the playoffs, hosts Denmark overtook Belgium and Great Britain.

The German team got off to an unfortunate start. Things got better for Andre Theme and Mayer Crazy Girl. Both crossed the finish line with one drop. Finza Bormann, Andreas Ripke and Felix Haman each have eight points, so the team finished last with 20 points in the Twelfth Nation Cup.

In the second round, the account will not be debited as Theme, Borman and Ripke have no errors. Felix Haman is no longer needed to get to the start. So Andreas Ripke was the best rider on the Andrea theme team. Thanks to three clear rounds, the team improved four places to finally finish eighth.

Andre Theme celebrated a special victory on Sunday in the final of the Medium Tour. Six couples, including Theme, competed with 13-year-old Stallion Contador in the 1.50m jump. The guy from Mecklenburg started first, made no mistakes again, finished in 38.66 seconds and put pressure on his teammates. Michael Pender (Ireland) and Mike Kawai (Japan) were fast, but without mistakes.

Jur Vrieling from the Netherlands was the only other rider to score an impeccable ride, finishing second in 39.25 seconds on the Eto’o VDL. The winning couple were Andre Theme and Kondadoor.

This coming weekend the theme really wanted to ride on the five-star CSIO in Rotterdam. There he wanted to mobilize his horse, Chakariya, who had escaped from Denmark. Nominated for a tournament on the national coach theme Sopot, he will ride alongside Marcus Ehing, Maurice Table and Christian Cook on the Polish Baltic coast.
