Scrap tire recycling pyramid in Dillingen, Sarland wants to continue to grow. As can be seen from the start-up company’s annual report for 2021, Pyram currently operates on eight customer projects with at least 24 pyrolysis lines. All planned plants are large plants, each with at least three pyrolysis lines. It is learned that the projects are in various project stages. Three projects are in progress. Pyram expects to set up two or three joint ventures this year and sign plant construction contracts.

Five of these potential plants are in Germany. According to earlier information, the Korn Company in Albstad is expected to build a plant with a capacity of 20,000 tons per year. Another plant of this size can be grown in Hanover or Munich. So far, nothing is known about the other projects in Germany mentioned in the annual report. A plant is also planned in Belgium, Ireland and Great Britain in collaboration with a tire manufacturer. In addition, Pyrum is currently expanding its site in Dillingen with two new thermolysis production lines. The company expects the two new facilities to be ready for trial operation by the end of 2022 and production in the first quarter of 2023.
