Russia releases video of Azovstal soldiers hospitalized after surrender Ukraine and Russia

Ministry of Defense Russia On Wednesday, a video was released claiming that Ukrainian soldiers were being treated at a hospital after Russian forces provoked the surrender of Ukrainian soldiers. Ukraine Siege of Azovstal Steelwork at Mariupol.

In one video, a group of men appear to be lying on a bed in a room, with two men talking briefly to the camera. One said he had food and doctors and the other said he had received a bandage and had no complaints about treatment.

In the second video, a man with a head injury says he is well fed and cared for and has no physical or mental stress.

A Russia As of Monday, 959 Azovstal soldiers had surrendered, including 80 wounded, who were being treated in Novoslavsk in the secluded Republic of Donetsk.

The Ukrainian authorities blocked all public discussions about the fate of the soldiers resisting in the Azovstal, and in the face of heavy Russian bombardment maintained the steelworks’ defense for weeks with tunnels and shelters.
