The Royal Variety performance left viewers distraught Wednesday night Captain Tom Moore sang that you can never walk with Michael Ball.
We are not crying, you.
Michael appeared on the stage of the Blackpool Opera House with the NHS Choir, and Captain Tom performed via video link.
Earlier this year, Captain Tom walked into his garden and helped raise $ 33 million for NHS charities.
Before his 100th birthday on April 30, he set out to take a 100-lap walk to his garden in Marston Moretain, Bedfordshire, and of course he smashed it.
Captain Tom and Michael also released Your Never Walk Alone as a single in April, topping the charts.
After their emotional and dynamic performance, a viewer took to Twitter to say: ‘Is anyone else pulling this off? Such a moving performance. ‘
Another commented: ‘I think I have something in my eye.’
Someone added: ‘In bits of this.’
Elsewhere on the show, Sheridan Smith played the role of the late Zilla Black Her performance gave everyone gooseberries.
There was also music by Steppes, Melanie C and Brit Award winner Celeste.
Performances by West End star Marisha Wallace and Kenyan Acrobats The Black Blues Brothers.
The Royal Variety Performance is available at ITV Hub.
