The Queen Elizabeth She was forced to cancel a two-day visit to Northern Ireland after doctors invited her to “rest for a few days”. A statement from Buckingham Palace quoted British media as saying. “The queen reluctantly accepted the doctors’ advice. She is in a good mood and regrets not being able to visit Northern Ireland, ”a statement read.

The rest imposed by 95-year-old Elizabeth II will be a precaution for her doctors. Despite enjoying good health, in fact, the Queen is still old, and in some cases is forcing her to slow down the very busy agenda of public appointments. The British media is not surprised that they told her to rest as she has been very busy for the last two weeks.

Born in 1926, the Queen celebrated her 95th birthday in April this year. Next year he will celebrate his 70th year on the throne, the longest reign in British history.

Despite coming of age, the King, who is celebrating his Platinum Jubilee next year, continues to fulfill her official commitments daily: only yesterday did she hold two video conference hearings with the Japanese Ambassador to the United Kingdom from her residence in Windsor Castle. Hajim Hayashi and EU Joao Vale de Almeida; It also hosted a reception for business leaders attending the Global Investment Summit in London, including billionaire Bill Gates and US climate special envoy John Kerry.

I know she turned down the award in honor of “Old Woman of the Year” for claiming she looked young: polite but firm, the Queen wrote a letter to The Old Magazine, a magazine for 29-year-olds. Gives titles to adults who play a special role in society. “Her private secretary, Tom Laying-Beck, wrote – ‘The Queen believes that a person is as old as he or she is and does not meet the relevant criteria for accepting him or her. So he or she hopes you will find a more suitable recipient.”
