New disaster in the United States. Just minutes before the verdict against Derek Chouv on Tuesday, U.S. police killed 16-year-old black teenager Machia Bryant in Columbus, Ohio.

Columbus Police Chief Michael Woods said officers responded to an emergency call with a knife from a man who feared he would be attacked by gunfire at 4pm local time (10:30 pm French time) on Tuesday. One of the officers who arrived at the scene was eventually seen attacking another teenage girl. After she fell to the ground, the policeman pulled out the knife the girl was holding.

This version of the facts is confirmed by images transmitted by local authorities of the foot camera of the police officer who was shot. “We thought it’s important to share with the community, be transparent about this incident, and allow them some answers we can give tonight.”, Said Michael Woods.

In the evening, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginter lamented a new thing about social media drama. “Terrible day”. “This is a horrible and heartbreaking situation.”He added. “Based on the video footage, we know the policeman took action to protect another girl in our community.”, He later told the media. “But tonight a family is in mourning. This girl will never come home.”, Ends sadly with the chosen ones.

The victim’s mother, Paula Bryant, told local CBS Antenna that she was his daughter “Very loving and peaceful” And “Defended the Peace”.
