Noem has noted in advance of Trump’s “dream” to have his encounter on Mount Rushmore, the Coolidge-era sculpture that attributes the 60-foot-tall faces of Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.
“He stated, ‘Kristi, arrive on around in this article. Shake my hand, and so I shook his hand, and I claimed, ‘Mr. President, you must arrive to South Dakota sometime. We have Mount Rushmore.’ And he goes, ‘Do you know it really is my dream to have my experience on Mount Rushmore?'”
