The October 23 clash, designed to increase interest in the sport among Americans, marks the start of a five-week race for the All Blacks with Wales, Italy, Ireland and France as other rivals.
Kane said New Zealand, who have not played in the United States since 2016, are determined to show why they are one of the strongest teams in world sports.
“One of the things about playing for All Blacks is that you have to play every week,” Cannon told reporters at a video conference.
“There are expectations from us and the public. The man in the black jersey wants you to perform every week because he has a rich history of performing well.”
The All Blacks’ 10-game winning streak ended in a draw when they lost to South Africa in the final of the Rugby Championship.
Defeat said the three-time world champions were determined to focus on the New Zealanders ahead of the Eagles game.
“Once your mind is allowed to move elsewhere, you don’t do the work you need on the weekends,” Kane said.
“I know the team has a week off. There will be three weeks between games. Finally we lost to South Africa, so there will be good motivation and great play to come out.”
U.S. captain Bryce Campbell said the All Blacks were playing as fast and fast as any other team.
“As a team we want to do our best, have no better chance than against the best players in the world, and, one of the best teams in the world,” Campbell said.
“We’re really excited about making our fans proud. It’s one thing you see on the scoreboard, but we want to make a performance that we can be proud of and help the game grow.”
The home test of the Washington National Football League soccer team is advertised as the 1874 Cup, the first organized rugby account to be played in the United States.
