No Trio’s concert was a huge success

Published on

On Friday, July 22, a concert by No Trio took place at the castle, which was greatly appreciated by an audience of Saint-Albanians and a large number of visitors. The versatile musicians Frédéric Vallée and Remi Sallard were already known to the Holy Albanians, as they came to perform there.

The public appreciated the quality of their performances, raising their repertoire on the accordion to a high technical and musical level in a variety of musical styles, from French song to jazz through traditional and classical music. Aster Piazzolla, swing waltzes (Yotaval waltzes) Tiersen, Nino Rota…) delighted the public.

“I play in many groups, but Rémi is a friend I have played with for over 20 years, and we teach together at the Correz Conservatory. Coming to play in Saint-Alban is a very emotional thing for me, because I was born here. This is the first time I play in this magnificent setting of the castle courtyard, with its great acoustics. We thank the public for their welcome.”Frederic Walley says.
