“$ 100 for the vaccine” in New York. This is the latest initiative launched by Mayor Bill de Blasio to persuade people to vaccinate Covid. “Those who get the vaccine will be paid $ 100 and we will thank them for their responsible action,” De Blasio said.
Kovid recorded 2,203 new cases in the state. On June 28, it was 275. Most of the new infections are in New York City and parts of Long Island.
New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo has ruled that all state employees must show proof that they have been vaccinated against Kovid-19 or be tested every week. The New York Times reveals it. The governor announced stricter rules for all state hospitals that make it clear that any patient in contact with health care workers must have already been vaccinated or have been vaccinated. There will no longer be an option to perform the test. Cuomo’s announcement comes two days after New York Mayor de Blasio announced a similar decision for city workers.
