Coach Emanuel Sacramento is beginning to think about the new challenge he will face in 2021, within Puebla football. The Rio de Janeiro coach, who was announced by River-PI this Monday morning, will be tasked with bringing the tricolor back into the national competition and seeking the title of Pioneers Championship, which has not come since 2019. Last year, Rooster escaped elimination in the final round. The newcomer to the commander said he knew the weight of running the club.
All of this is happening in the shadow of the worst 2020 for Rooster, with eliminations in the Costa do Nordeste and the Sari de brazieriro. Sacramento accepted the pressure with the 2021 title mission but say it belongs to the club.

– Any coach in charge of River-PI should be given headlines and put under pressure. It’s the biggest club in Piazza and the biggest club in the Northeast – he justified.
– So the pressure is there, we know it. We will form a competitive squad so that River-PI tops the list for the entire championship – he commented.
Emanuel Sacramento’s prediction to arrive in Theresina to write the 2021 squad will be this Thursday, and he will begin conversations with the board about the names.
River-PI is set to make its debut in 2021 against Tridentes on February 21 at 16pm at the Alberto Stadium in Teresina, only from Piavens.
