This Friday (12) Argentina surpassed 50,000 deaths according to Kovid-19, more than two million infections, as the vaccination campaign progressed.

In the last 24 hours, 155 new deaths have been registered and the death toll has risen to 50,029, the health ministry said.

The latest official official report found 7,151 new infections, with 2,015,496 positive cases in a country of 45 million people.

The government expects the plane to land Friday night from the Russian Institute of Gamale with a 400,000-dose Sputnik V vaccine from state-owned Aerolinas Argentina.

On previous flights, the aircraft carried 820,000 doses of Sputnik V from Russia, the only immunization available so far in the vaccination program.

According to Health Minister Guinness Gonzalez Garcia, the government’s campaign includes the purchase of 62 million doses from various laboratories for congressional commissions.

Next week, the 580,000 DOS Covshield vaccine is expected to arrive from the Indian Laboratory Serum Institute.

The deals include 30 million doses of Sputnik V, 23 million Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccine, and nine million Kovacs international cooperation systems.
