More than 200 decomposing bodies were found in the wreckage of a bunker in Mariupol. UkraineAccording to the report, this Tuesday (24), Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of the port city.

“While removing debris from a multi-storey building, 200 bodies were found in a high level of decay in the basement,” a representative of the municipal government said in a telegram, the Ukrainian news agency reported. Union.

According to Andriyushchenko, locals refused to collect the bodies found in the area. In this way, the bodies were left inside the broken shelter.

If the debris is partially removed, the entire neighborhood where the bunker is located will smell of decomposing carcasses.

Andriyushchenko explained that due to the laws imposed by the “State Corporation” of Donetsk, the removal and transportation to the proper cemetery is practically stalled.

The rules establish that for a free “official” burial, it is necessary to face a queue to announce the discovery after the body has been taken to the morgue.

“Because of these conditions, a large number of corpses were packed into a better mortuary,” the adviser explains in a message with photos of the installation taken on the street.

“The city has become a huge cemetery,” laments the Mariupol government representative.
