Basketball: Backlash for the Swiss star
The Swiss basketball players had to suffer a setback in the first stage of European Championship qualification. They lost 63:71 in Nicosia against previously winless Cyprus. Playmaker Jonathan Cassady was the Swiss team’s longest presence with 34:45 minutes. He scored 17 points.
