Microsoft: Times are changing – so is Azure

Software giant Microsoft this week unveiled a bombastic figure in the true sense of the word. The Redmond-based company has grown in each of its branches. Re-indicates the strength of Microsoft in the cloud.

Now Brent Breslin, an analyst from Piper Sandler, surprised Wall Street with a statement. Brazil expects Azure to become Microsoft’s largest division by early next year.

The group had revenues of more than $ 7.2 billion in the last quarter, accounting for 17 percent of Microsoft’s total sales. Three years ago, the Redmond-based company earned only 4% of total revenue with Azure.

This means that the software specialist is already generating higher revenue with Azure than the Windows operating system (5.72 billion in the last quarter).

Literally, experts said: “We expect Microsoft to achieve $ 11.8 billion in quarterly Azure sales by June 2022 (so it was $ 10.9 billion more than Office this quarter).”

Azure’s strength is due to the intelligent cloud strategy of CEO Satya Nadella, who has already realized that the future of software lies in the realm of cloud offers and that he has done his best to move Microsoft’s cloud conversion forward as quickly as possible. .
