Microsoft buys Cinemax Media for $ 7.5 billion

Microsoft has announced that it will acquire Cinemax Media for $ 7.5 billion. The Xbox video game offer is bolstered by the studio behind titles such as Fallout and Doom Reboot.

Senimax is the parent company of Bethesda Software, which developed hits including The Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein and Dishonard.

The deal comes after Microsoft’s bid for USSett, a short video app, failed.

Tick Tock’s contract is currently designed to be a partnership with Oracle and Walmart rather than wholesale sales.

Microsoft has announced that it plans to roll out Bethesda’s future games on the Xbox or PC with a monthly Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Microsoft added that GamePass now has more than 15 million subscribers.

Microsoft said Bethesda’s structure and leadership will remain the same.

Gaming is in tears because of the demand from users who were at home during the Kovid-19 pandemic, and Microsoft has put its trust in offering users a number of ways to play at different price points through their cloud service and consoles.

Microsoft has announced that the Senimax deal will expire in the second half of the 2021 fiscal year and will have little impact on adjusted operating income for the 2021 and 2022 fiscal years.
