When Richard Ohloran flew to China in February 2019, he was unaware that he had not seen his family for almost three years. BEIJING: A company manager has been arrested in Beijing for defrauding investors. The Irish government is now apparently entering into an agreement with China.

An Irish manager who was forced to stay in China for three years has returned home following a business dispute. Wife Tara tweeted that Richard Ohloren, who arrived in Dublin this morning, had seen his four children for the first time.

The manager of an aircraft leasing company has agreed to an agreement between Ireland and China to see tens of thousands of euros in monthly payments to Beijing, the Irish Times reported.

The lawsuit was probably funded by a Chinese employer in Belarus. The businessman flew to China in February 2019 to testify in court against his boss for cheating Chinese investors. However, despite the diplomatic pressure, the Irishman was not allowed to leave the country. O’Haloran said he had insomnia and mental stress.
