Caspian player Marvin Martins, who represents the Luxembourg team, has assured that Portugal will face “difficulties” in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

“If we repeat the exhibition we did against Ireland [vitória por 1-0]”With a lot of solidarity, Portugal will face difficulties against us,” he said White ball.

During the internship with the Luxembourg team, Defender explained that Portugal “has a team of quality on the offensive level” and have many “dangerous” players.

Despite the strength of the national team, after winning the qualifying debut match, a game in which Marvin was the starter “motivates the group to play against European champions Portugal”.

Fullback confirms what the Portuguese national coach has previously pointed out: The Luxembourg team “has expanded a lot in recent years”, with the victory over Ireland being an example of this.

Unlike the Luxembourgs, Portugal did not achieve the expected result in the final. Marvin Martins believes the draw against Serbia has left the team very disappointed, mainly because the third goal was not validated.

“It affects the mental side of the game a lot and we have to take advantage of it,” he said in an interview Of the Renaissance.

A special game

Marvin Martins was born in Luxembourg to Cape Verdean parents. He lives in Portugal, where he plays and has family.

“Of course there are elements to a particular game”, but “regardless, playing against a team like Portugal is always special”.

Many Portuguese are known to live in Luxembourg. Although the public will not be able to attend the Josie Bartle Stadium, Marvin has no doubt that “these will be maximized to support the Portuguese team.”

Portugal’s third match in qualifying for the 2022 World Cup is on Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. Luxembourg-Portugal has a report Of the Renaissance Follow-up for minutes rr.sapo.pt.
