McLaren ‘s new signing, Daniel Ricciardo, continued the start of his team’s F1 2021, leading the morning session of the test in Bahrain on Saturday.

Lewis Hamilton stopped his Mercedes with a spin on the gravel in the middle of the session, but it was only a small setback when the world champions finished 58 laps, and 10 more than every Friday.

But they remain at the bottom of the mileage charts in the middle of F1’s short-term pre-season schedule.

The gear change and general handling problems in the car prompted Mercedes to admit that they got off to a bad start with their new W12 car during the three-day test ride.

Meanwhile, after a two-season absence, Fernando Alonso returned fully to F1 and soon took part in the competition, completing 60 laps for his first shooting on the Alpine’s stunning A521.

After a two-year absence from F1, Fernando Alonso returns to sports in the Alpine AF21 during morning training on the second day in Bahrain.

The 39-year-old Spanish revealed on Friday that he plans to compete every season with two titanium plates on his jaw after he suffered a broken and operated on cycling accident in Switzerland four weeks ago.

Sergio Perez was another player on a new team, the Mexican fastest fourth in the Red Bull’s RB16B.

Nicholas Latifi is fourth for Williams and Alpha Tory Rookie Yuki Sunoda is fifth.

Seasons 1 and 2 of the Netflix Original Drive to Survive will air Sunday nights at 9:30 pm on Sky Sports F1. Has crew chief Gunther Steiner, one of the biggest players in the series, explains.

But the Aston Martin team had gearbox problems, and Sebastian Vettel was limited to just nine laps. While Lance Stroll is expected to return to the car in the afternoon, quadruple champion Vettel has only four hours left on the track and will open the season for his new team on March 26 and 28 to prepare for the Bahrain GP.
