Latin and Caribbean rhythms, with Ireland’s Ramon Chicharon

Ramon Chicharon, winner of the Félix in the “Best Album – World Music” category at ADISQ and the Latin Award Canada “Album of the Year” for his 2020 release “Pescador de Suenos”, will be in Ireland on September 17th. His new show is “Destello de Estrellas”.

The Columbia-born Montreal singer-songwriter will seduce audiences with danceable Caribbean rhythms inspired by Congolese souks, with a touch of electro added to it. Sensitive, committed and witty with his pen, he draws inspiration from the desire to live more simply from a world without boundaries and the hardships that come with pursuing one’s dream. “This evening will mark the end of summer in a festive and danceable atmosphere,” said cultural programming manager Aud Fournier.

In fact, Green Ireland events are always coated with a community touch, with campfires outside and breaks encouraging meetings.

Tickets can be reserved through the Green Ireland website: www.vertierlande.ca (418-428-3286). To allow young people to develop an interest in music, the organization recalls that all Green Ireland shows are free for young people aged 16 and under and reduced prices for students.
