“Italians discriminate against Ireland and 14-day embargo”

Published on

“Dear Union,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment at the shameful and discriminatory measures taken by the Irish Government against all Italians in any other part of Europe.

The Irish government has added travelers from Italy to its list of those who have been subjected to forced shipbuilding in hotels for 14 days for 1900 euros.

This step was taken by holding an urgent and unplanned meeting on April 2, which caused great concern on the part of citizens, media and politicians for importing variants from our country.

I do not know if you have had the opportunity to check the updated data from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control website until yesterday.

The 14-day case notification rate per 100,000 residents in Italy is 338, a significant improvement over previous weeks. The other eighteen countries have higher infection rates than ours, but it does not seem to be the Government’s priority to add or review more than what has already been added to consider removal. India, which has the highest incidence of infections in the world, is not included in this list.

Given the city’s dissatisfaction with Europe’s longest lockdown, an Irish popular move seems to be calming the water. Contrary to scientific information, it cannot be explained that India is still outside and we are still inside.

I do not wish to comment on the presence of Prime Minister Donley on RTE (Main Irish Public TV), and reiterate that the recall letter received in recent days does not require the Italians to apologize, at least in Europe. The letter underscores that Ireland can achieve the same results that invite Irish authorities to comply with the recommendations of the Council of Europe, which are based on proportionality and non-discrimination, in protecting the population from the Kovid, with minimal control measures.

Irish Health Minister Donley has not yet commented on the criteria used to select European countries.

I sincerely hope that something can be done to prevent this unprecedented corruption.

Thank you for your attention”.
