Irish Challenge: Hugging and Play-Off, Lando Casanova 8th

Published on

Dan Huising, known on the Challenge Tour, hit again. Thanks to his two victories on the European Tour in 2013 (Northern Ireland Open Challenge, Kharkov Superior Cup) and sixth place on the road. In 2014, the Dutch failed to retain a place in the elite.

Since then, the 30-year-old has always been fighting in the European Second Division. This Sunday, at the Port Marnock course, Hughes rediscovered the taste of victory by defeating Spaniard Edward Roosevelt in the playoffs.

A win that allows Hughes to win his third title on the Challenge Tour and move up the road from Mallorca to third.

« I’m so happy. I had really complicated years, and the success I had in Jordan last year was not taken into account, so it was no success. I was reluctant to play the tour with a small section, and finally, I decided to return to the Challenge Tour this year. It was not an easy decision, but in the end it paid off. »

On the French side, Jerome Lando-Casanova scored eight (-5) four strokes from the playoffs. Clement Berardo and Julian Brun 12th (-3), Frederick Lacroix 26th (by). At the back, we see Hugo Cosad in 43rd place with a total score of +3. Sebastian Gross 55 (+6), Victor Ryu 60 (+9), Matthew Fenas 62 (+12)
