Marseille will host the first edition of the Irish and Country Music Festival. June 28 to 30At the Antonin-Gross quay in the port centre.

Organized as part of a double exchange between Ireland's Marseille and its twin city, Castleblayney, the event offers three days of lively entertainment, lively music and rhythmic dancing, transporting festival-goers into the warm and festive atmosphere of Green Erin. The Irish and Country Music Festival program is aimed at participants of all ages. The program will feature a variety of artists performing over the three days, with highlights such as Blackwater Sailley Band (Irish music), The Greenband, Limelight, Robert Mizzell (American country) and Jimmy Buckley, considered one of Ireland's greatest success stories. Singing and music play an important role in Jimmy's life, and he counts Elvis and Buddy Holly as his biggest influences.

Irish music is characterized by catchy melodies and rhythmic rhythms rooted in the Celtic musical traditions of ancient Ireland. There will be a grand finale where all the artistes will line up on stage. In addition to the musical performances, the public will have the opportunity to discover the grace and energy of the dance company Unity Irish Dancers, who will perform throughout the weekend.
