Under the agreement with Ambro, Ireland have unveiled their new home shirt for 2022. A shirt that complements the Orange Away Kit released a few weeks ago.

Third in their qualifying group behind Serbia and Portugal, the Irish selection did not step on Qatar’s turf for the 2022 World Cup. With the biggest match since the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan set aside, Ireland will still have to wait. You can comfort yourself with a new home shirt unveiled by the device supplier Umbro.

It will be used throughout the 2022-2023 fiscal year, during which time the green men will play in the Nations League B league matches before qualifying for Euro 2024 in Germany.

A new home shirt for Ireland

Under an agreement with Ambro from 2020, Ireland will take advantage of the days leading up to the international break to introduce its new home kit. The Boys in Green 2022-2023 shirt, which was inaugurated on March 26 against Belgium and then against Lithuania on March 29, clearly focuses on the legendary green. When white and orange appear to be related at the level of the sleeves, it evokes the pattern on the body.

According to Ambro’s official press release, this graphic is intended ” To capture the emotional feeling that Irish expatriates feel when they first see the soil of their country . With this graphic pattern that finds many shapes and different shades of green, it is a compliment to the panoramic views of the island and the vast fields we can see. Compared to the previously selected ones, the graphics still give this new outfit a very interesting relief.
