Ireland: Conor McGregor in Dublin court

UFC player Connor McGregor appeared in Dublin court on Thursday for traffic violations.

The 33-year-old was arrested last month and his 140 140,000 Bentley Continental GT briefly seized for a crime in Ireland, according to UK Metro. A McGregor spokesman confirmed the arrest last month that the boxer was driving to the gym when he was dragged by a guard for alleged traffic violations.

After his arrest on March 22, McGregor was taken to Luken Garda Station, where he was released by car. When produced in court in Blanchardstown on Thursday morning, the Irishman was charged with two counts of driving dangerously.

A case has been registered against him for failing to produce insurance, driving without insurance, failing to produce a license and driving without a license. The 33-year-old will return to court this summer after the case was adjourned to June 23.

McGregor was arrested in Ireland on Tuesday, March 22, and his Bentley Continental GT briefly seized. The former UFC lightweight, featherweight champion was arrested by the Guard on N4 Highway and charged with reckless driving.
