Regensburg (ots) – – the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for the “Created Recipes” feature of the recipe platform Cookidoo® – the platform has already received the UX Design Award and this year the IF Design Award – intive and Vorwerk work together successfully for 10 years together

Digital products development partner Intive and Vorwerk will receive a Red Dot Award in the Brand and Communication Design category for their “Created Recipes” offering on the Cookidoo ® platform. After “Created Recipes” already received the UX Design Award and the IF Design Award this year, this award completes the team’s three most important design awards worldwide.

intive and Vorwerk have been working together since 2012. The original goal was to bring the premium Thermomix® food processor into a new era. A deep-rooted partnership developed from this project, culminating in the design and development of Cookidoo ® . The cooking platform brings together preparation, planning and shopping with mobile apps and revolutionizes cooking. Although Cookidoo® comes with 75,000 ready-made recipes, users want to be able to upload and save their own recipes. To fulfill this desire, Intiv and Vorwerk jointly developed the “Created Recipes” function. It allows users to create, import and modify favorite recipes, save them centrally and cook with Thermomix®.

Stefan Bickelmann, Principal Design Strategist at Intiv, says: “Awards like the Red Dot Design Award are a great recognition for our designers and a successful collaboration with Vorwerk. Through the ‘Created Recipes’ activity we take into account three design principles: humanity, relevance and simplicity. To test this intensively through qualitative and task-based user interviews We did.Our ultimate goal was to develop a powerful tool that would allow users to seamlessly consume all recipes across all touchpoints.

This is already the second Red Dot Design Award for the design team, after Thermomix received an award with Vorwerk in 2019.
