Moxie Marlins, founder and CEO of Signal Messenger, has announced his resignation as CEO of Spike. The seat was temporarily handed over to Brian Acton, co – founder and billionaire of WhatsApp, who sits on the board of the Signal Foundation. It has been reported in Blog Companies.

Marlinspeak explained that he had been working on the project for about ten years, but had recently stopped participating in development. He described his decision to retire as “an important step in the success of Signal”. “I have talked to various candidates over the last few months, but now I want to officially open the position to help find the best person to serve as CEO of Signal for the next decade,” it says.

The company chief said he would remain on Signal’s board of directors and participate in the investigation to find the new head of Messenger.
