In Northern Ireland, FP McCann owns a second Rokbak RA30.

FP McCann, one of Northern Ireland’s largest quarry operators, has added a second Rokbak RA30 articulated hauler to its fleet in March 2022. This longtime customer still operates 9 Terex truck models. “All our dumpers are long-lasting but have proven their toughness and reliability over the years, so there’s no real incentive to switch brands,” says Chris McIlroy, manager of Knocklorim Quarry near Magarafelt, where the new Rokbak RA30 currently operates. .

“Our mechanics were already very familiar with Terex truck machines, so routine service and maintenance became second nature to them, keeping downtime to a minimum.”

FP McCann’s other Rokbak and Terex truck dumpers operate elsewhere in the county, at Craigall Quarry in Garvagh and Bradleys Quarry in Kilrea. As a manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete solutions in the UK, the company also produces ready-mixed concrete, aggregates and asphalt from the Nochlorim site.
