German old rocker Marius Müller-Westernhagen (74), in his own words, is often mistaken for U2 frontman Bono (62) from Ireland.
“I’m often confused Bono“, the musician told the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung” (NOZ). “Once someone mistook me for John Lennon. I had to tell him: John Lennon has been dead for a long time.

Asked whether foreign songs such as those written by Herbert Grönemeyer have also been praised, Westernhagen, who comes from Dusseldorf and lives in Berlin, said: “Luckily it hasn’t happened to me yet. But I know that Herbert was praised for “Freedom”.
