It appears to be Adam Schefter did not have the fastest fingers Monday on Twitter.
Ahead of ESPN’s NFL Insider exposed the Chiefs were being signing star quarterback Patrick Mahomes to the richest deal in sports activities record, Katie Camlin of Kansas City’s Plaza Liquor hinted at the blockbuster offer first.
“A front business staff for the Chiefs arrived in and acquired 6 bottles of Dom Perignon. Said there is a significant signing these days. He reported it’s not [tackle] Chris Jones, so my guess is a Mahomes deal,” Camlin, a keep supervisor, wrote in a tweet at 12:21 p.m.
Camlin explained to United states Right now that she deleted the tweet, “terrified” she would upset the franchise and harm her store’s organization.
