Those coming to Ireland on vacation and planning to go in September have a better idea of what to expect from a summer airport in the middle of the bay.
While some states have begun to move restrictions, others continue to operate because the number of government cases is higher.
Many areas have implemented a Covid digital certification to access most internal activities, so we have listed below everything you need to know before traveling to Spain, Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Italy and France.
Spain
Admission Requirements: Travelers to Spain must have a government digital certificate certifying full immunization at least two weeks before departure.
You will also need to fill out a pre-departure health verification form found on the Spanish Travel Health app, and then receive a “Quick Verification QR Code” to submit on-board.
Children under the age of 12 are excluded from the examination or isolation requirements.
Government Laws: Restrictions in Spain vary from region to region and include lower capacity, lower working hours and curfew requests in bars and restaurants.
It is mandatory to use the mask indoors or outdoors, as well as on public transportation.

Greece
Admission Requirements: To enter Greece to avoid a 7-day isolation period requires a government certificate of vaccination, recovery or negative PCR test results.
The Traveler Location Form (PLF) must be completed at least 24 hours prior to arrival (Greek time), and is strictly required prior to entry.
Irregular antigen tests still apply to all those who come and travel to Greece, regardless of their testimony. If you refuse to be elected, the authorities have the right to refuse to enter the country.
Government Laws: Until September 13, all bars, restaurants, museums and events will be closed to all unsafe tourists and locals unless there is evidence of negative results from the government test.
Health authorities are imposing a curfew in the Messina region from 1:00 am to 6:00 am on August 27 and extending the same measures until September 1 in the cities of Crete, Sanya, Heraklion and Retmeno.
The curfew has been in effect in Sanya, Heraklion and Rethimon since August 6, and people are allowed to leave their homes only for essential needs.
National restrictions include the mandatory use of masks in closed public places and busy outdoor and outdoor areas.

Croatia
Admission Requirements: All incoming travelers need an EU digital certificate for vaccination, recovery or negative testing.

Admission Requirements: Vaccination, recovery, and negative test (72 hours before departure) You can enter Portugal from Ireland; PCR and antigen are acceptable.
Travelers from high-risk countries or approved by the EU Digital Government (500 cases per 100,000 cases within the last 14 days) must observe a 14-day isolation period after entering Portugal mainland.
Government Laws: Restaurants, bars, cafes and desserts open and close until 2 p.m. M., but only for groups of 8 and 15 people.
Cultural spaces with 75% efficiency and accommodation services are considered “clean and safe”, which allows to identify companies and services that have implemented extensive health and safety measures.
Masks are mandatory in public places both indoors and outdoors, while performing social distance activities.

Italy
Admission Requirements: Upon arrival, the EU must present a certificate of vaccination, treatment or a negative test (within 48 hours) along with the passenger tracking form.
If you do not have an EU Digital Covit Certificate, you can enter Italy until August 30, 2021, but you must have an EMA approved vaccine, Covid-19 recovery certificate, and Covid antigen test or molecular test. 19 Negatives (PCR) before departure.
Government Laws: The EU mask and digital certificate are mandatory, and Covit has access to several public places:
- Indoor tables in bars or restaurants
- Public events, sports and competitions
- Access to museums, cultural institutions and exhibitions
- Access to swimming pools, gyms and spas (covered)
- Conferences, Assemblies, Exhibitions
- Amusement parks, community centers, community centers (indoor)

France
Admission Requirements: Ireland is currently on France’s “green list”, so if you have a full immunization, take a negative antigen test or RT-PCR test 72 hours before departure, or if you have Gulf recovery evidence, you can enter without isolation.
Government Laws: Current restrictions mean that a health permit is required to access cultural and entertainment venues and events with more than 50 people.
From August 9, access to bars, restaurants, local authorities, hospitals, nursing homes, homes, and some shopping centers for interstate travel by air, train, or bus will be required.
For camp sites and other holiday hotels, the entry visa must be presented upon arrival.
