The photoshoot sparked online conversations about masculinity, gender and dress, and some prominent conservative commentators, including author Candace Owens and commentator Ben Shapiro, criticized the editorial.

Owens wrote on his Twitter page: “Bring the men back.”

She added: “There can be no society without strong men. The East knows this. In the West, the constant feminization of our men at the same time as teaching Marxism to our children is no coincidence. This is totally offensive. ” [sic]

Shapiro shared in his tweet: “It’s a complete joke that people who pretend that this is not a referendum on masculinity do not wear fluffy clothes.”

However, Wilde, the actor and director, is now working on a film in which Styles-Stars responds to Owens’ tweets: “You’re pathetic.”

Good Place actress Jamil added: “Manly is what you want.”

Styles who found fame in Boyband One Direction had previously appeared in a dress on the cover of Guardian Weekend.

The pop star, who regularly celebrates for his style, talked about his fashion sense Popular.

He said: “You can never put too much pressure on yourself. There is no such thing.

“The people I listen to in music – Prince, David Bowie, Elvis, Freddie Mercury, Elton John – are such showmen.

“As a child, it was completely mind boggling. Now I wear something really fun and I’m not crazy to wear it.

“If you get something that feels amazing to you, it’s like playing a superhero.”

He added: “There are clothes to enjoy, try and play with.

“The really exciting thing is that all these lines are kind of broken.

When you say, “You have clothes for men and you have clothes for women”, if you remove any obstacles, you will open a scene where you can play. ”

He thinks women’s clothing is stunning.

“I sometimes go to the shops and I think women’s clothes look stunning,” he said.

“It’s like anything – whenever you create obstacles in your life, you limit yourself.

“I have a lot of fun playing with clothes.

“I’m never thought much about what this means.
